Alexei Chijoff-Evans
With a name like Alexei Chijoff-Evans one would easily think I’m fresh from Eastern Europe, but I was actually born in Redding, California and spent most of my time growing up in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. I am a senior (’11), majored in Social Anthropology and played tennis on the varsity team throughout my time at Harvard. When I was not playing tennis or studying I spent my time djing or traveling to fun places in Boston. I spent a year on the Kirkland house committee where I was the social chair and loved every minute of it. A particularly fun college memory is from the summer of ’09 where I was in in Tokyo, Japan for a study abroad trip (and obviously all of the HY football games). Working for Harvard Student Agencies after graduating is not as perplexing of a decision as one would immediately think. I love Boston, not sitting at a desk all day (yet), and being surrounded by fun and dynamic individuals. Unfortunately, I wont be able to deliver water bottles for too long as I will be attending law school in the Fall.

Although his Harvard concentration is currently undecided, Joe aspires to become a talent agent working at one of the “Big Four” talent agencies in California. Aside from being the Dorm Essentials manager at HSA, Josef is also an avid weightlifter, a Team BeachBody coach, a graduate of the P90X workout program, and enjoys pretty much any sport and/or form of physical activity. In the unlikely event that Joe has a bad day or is in a bad mood, simply make a well-timed reference to his absolute favorite TV show, Entourage, and he will be laughing again in no time.

She is currently a junior at Harvard College majoring in sociology with a potential minor in Women and Gender Studies. Both educationally and personally, she has a particular interest in topics tangential to sociology and urban development. This intellectual pursuit, in combination with her experiences, have led her to ultimately plan for a vocation in social services, either domestically or internationally or both. In order to prepare for my future profession, I am excited by academic and experiential opportunities that focus on the study of the beginnings, development, and organization of human societies, and human behavior within societies. Beyond HSA, the summer of 2010 was Annie’s first exposure to a multinational company when she interned in finance/business planning at H.J. Heinz. Though Annie’s time in high school making and teaching art as well as organizing the first charity alumnae art auction at her school fostered her creativity and attention to detail, HSA has successfully introduced Annie to the world of business and its challenges and has taught her what it takes to get a job done.

She has danced for 6 years and has a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. She is super friendly between the times of 11:00am and 2:00am and loves to chat about absolutely anything!
