Are all items for sale?
Pretty much! Safe for Water Coolers, TVs, and Fans, the Dorm Store, in attempt to better meet consumer demands, is now selling all of its products! Save yourself the hassle of walking across the Square with a futon, or driving to school with a fridge and leave the details to us! Purchase online before September 1st and everything will be delivered to you before classes start!
Which items are delivered and which must I pick up?
All items ordered before September 1st will be delivered. For items ordered after that date, delivered items include: Coffee Tables, Office Chairs, Bean Bag Chairs, Futons, Fridges, Rugs, Water Coolers, and 5 Gallon Refill Jugs, and pick up items include: Bed Risers, Shoe Racks, Dryer Racks, Wastebins and Bowl Brushes.
By when can I expect my things to be delivered to my dorm room?
Orders placed by September 1st will be delivered by the first day of shopping period. Orders placed after that will be delivered as soon as possible, usually by the end of shopping period. Please refer to our delivery policy for more information
Do I have to be in my room for the items to be delivered?
No! Don’t worry about delivery times – we have access to all rooms on campus and our experienced delivery crew will deal with delivering your products to you.
Can I choose to pick up an item instead of having it delivered?
You may pick up an item, however, you will still be charged for delivery.
Where do I pick up items that you don’t deliver?
You can pick up your purchases at our location at 17 Holyoke St.
What if my roommate and I order the same product?
If the same, sharable product is ordered by both you and your roommate (futons, fridges, bean bag chairs, coffee tables, or rugs), we will contact you both to inquire about the double order. When we receive your feedback, we will proceed as you request.
How do I return rental items at the end of the year?
You should clean your water cooler and leave it inside your room, unplugged, along with any accumulated empty 5 gallon jugs. Fans can be returned to our location at 17 Holyoke St.
When will I get my deposit back?
We issue deposit refunds within two weeks of your returning your rentals at the end of the year, as long as the items are returned in the same condition as when they were given to you.
How do you refund my deposit?
If you placed your original order with a credit card, we will issue the refund to the same card. If you paid by cash or check, we will send a check to the billing address you provided at the time of your order, within a month of your returning the items at the end of the year.
