What is the Freshman Linens Program?
The Freshman Linens Program began in 1957, and allowed incoming students to place orders for linen sets that would be waiting for them on campus when they arrived. Today, the basic premise of the program is the same, but our product line has greatly expanded. We offer a wide range of linens, comforters, blankets, and other bed and bath accessories exclusively to the Class of 2012 - all of which will be here on campus waiting for you come September.
Why does HSA do the Freshman Linens Program?
Harvard Student Agencies is dedicated to encouraging and developing student entrepreneurship in Harvard undergraduates. The Freshman Linens Program gives undergraduates at Harvard Student Agencies a chance to source, market, and distribute a full product line for hundreds of customers. It also allows us to offer incoming students all of the products they need for their bed and bath without having to worry about bringing anything with them to campus. Some students are passionate about the arts, other students are passionate about politics; we here at HSA Cleaners are passionate about our linens program!
Where did you get your products? How do they compare to products found at Target, Nordstroms, Linens 'N Things, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc.?
All of our products were manufactured specifically for the Class of 2012, using suppliers and manufacturers from across the globe. All of our linens, comforters, and duvets are of the same quality you could find in national department stores, but at better prices. We are able to offer lower prices for two reasons: 1) we were purchasing for hundreds of students at once and 2) we didn't stop searching for suppliers until we were convinced we had the absolute best quality and the lowest possible price. As for our "Harvard" insignia blanket and bathrobe, these items were custom designed and embroidered specifically for Harvard Student Agencies and the Class of 2012.
Where can I pick up my linens/blanket/comforter/bathrobe/etc?
All items ordered as part of the Freshman Linens program must be picked up at the Science Center during Freshman Move-In Weekend, September 6th-7th.
What is your return policy?
The Freshman Linens Program is a one-time sales program coordinated by HSA Cleaners. We take on inventory solely for Freshman Move-In Weekend, distribute the inventory over the course of 2 days, and then resume normal business operations as a dry-cleaning and laundry service at 17 Holyoke St. For this reason, all sales made as part of the Freshman Linens Program are to be considered final. We are confident that our customers will be fully satisfied with all of our products.
